JOB VACANCY – TRAINEE SPORTS OFFICER

Melbourn Sports Centre has the opportunity for enthusiastic, reliable individuals to become part of the UK leisure industry, helping keep people fit and healthy. This is a trainee role, so full comprehensive training will be provided, giving the successful candidate a great skill level and opportunities within this popular industry. This job package also comes with completely free use of our Fitness Suite, swimming pool and court facilities for all employees, as well as a full employment package including holiday pay and company pension. Salary is dependent on age, experience and ability.

Training Provided

This post is a training post. If needed and for the right candidate, the post holder will receive the following training:

  •  RLSS Pool lifeguard award

  •  First aid training & AED training

  •  REPS Level 2 fitness qualification

  •  Swimming Teachers qualifications

  •  Possible additional coaching certificates


Weekly Hours: Approx. 37 hours

Shift Pattern: Various Shifts (Early, Evenings and Weekends)
