Aquatic Classes:

Our Aqua Fit is a complete workout for the whole body and is suitable for everyone. All of our Aqua Fit classes are led by a qualified instructor and we have a wide range of equipment including Aqua Gloves, Dumbbell Floats and ‘Woggles’.

 

Each class lasts an hour and includes warm up, combination exercises, cool down, stretches and often deep water work.

 

Items you may need: water bottle, socks (can help to improve your grip on the pool floor).

This training session is aimed specifically at multi-sport athletes and triathletes of any experience level.

 

The swim and run classes are aimed at improving technique and stamina.

We do require all participants to be able to swim lengths in our 20 metre pool.

PLEASE NOTE: Please allow time to book in at reception and change before your class begins. If you arrive after the warm up has begun you will be unable to join the class.

Our pilates sessions are relaxing classes aimed at improving posture, body alignment, breathing, muscular strength and control.

 

Pilates aims to strengthen your body with emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and wellbeing.

Boxercise

The boxercise class at Melbourn Sports Centre is a safe, effective and fun form of exercise suitable for all ages.  

 

The class uses boxing movements to improve overall fitness, co-ordination and flexibility.

Body Workout

Using handheld weights, balls and your own body weight, the instructor will take you through a series of challenging exercises to tone your entire body.

 

Great class if you want to be introduced gently to exercise, or if you want an uncompromising traditional workout. Suitable for 12 years and above.

Boot Camp

Our boot camp is a mix of session formats that will help shift that stubborn body fat and tone those muscles.

 

Sessions may include bodyweight exercises, equipment such as kettle bells, battle ropes, medicine balls, resistance bands and more! You may have a session geared more towards legs and abs or a total body workout.

Icon-PushUp

Aerobics

Aerobics is a great mix of cardio, sculpting and high / low intensity moves that will keep you on your toes and having fun while you workout.

 

Great for targeting legs, bums and tums. This class can be a fantastic way to get in shape, burn fat, and add more variety to your workout. Suitable for 16 years and above.
